WE Are The Asteroid is an Austin, Texas-based "freak rock" trio formed in 2014. They are known for a high-energy punk/acid rock sound featuring members Gary Chester, Nathan Calhoun, and Frank Garymartin. All members have been previously affilliated with Texas legands such as Ed Hall, The Pain Teens, Honky, Fuck Emos and Butthole Surfers.
