FAQ

When will you be open daily?

We are currently in a holding pattern with our landlord on when we can take possession of the kitchen space due to an existing tenant’s move. Once we get possession we will need at least a month to install equipment, acquire our permit, and hire and train staff. Our new Chef is currently on staff and we’ve seen the new menu. All we can say is that it will be worth the wait.

Are minors allowed to shows?

Due to an arrangement with our insurance provider and in accordance with Missouri liquor laws we allow minors 18 and over with proper ID. Under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian. State issued ID is required of all guests, regardless of your age.

When do shows start?

This depends on the show, style of entertainment, number of opening acts, and what else is happening at recordBar that night. Check your tickets or our website for that night’s start time. Doors generally open 1 hour before showtime.

Where can I get tickets to recordBar shows?

Tickets can be purchased online at therecordbar.com  or in-person at the recordBar on show nights.  We also work with some of the area’s best promoters and you may purchase tickets from them the links provided on our calendar.  For AEG Live promoted shows you may purchase tickets free of service charge at their box office which is located at The Midland Theater.

Can I pick up my tickets before the show?

If you purchased tickets on-line and did not choose for tickets to be mailed to you there are NO physical tickets. Your name will be on a list when you arrive.

What If I need to change the name on my ticket because I cannot attend and I want to give them to a friend?

You will need to contact the the ticket provider to initiate name changes. This guarantees that ticket holder names are not wrongfully switched.  This information will be found at the point of sale; either Ticketfly, AXS or Ticketmaster depending on the show.

When are you open?

Currently only open one hour before show time on show days only. See our calendar.
